Priced at $899 (VGN-N320E/W) and equipped with Intel Pentium Dual Core 1.6 GHz processor, all necessary ports and, in addition, with the ExpressCard that enables laptop to connect to even more external devices, Sony N series is the best laptop for today for the lowest price. Sure you can buy cheaper Dell or Compaq for around $499 with an instant rebate today … but these lowest-end models are not nearly equipped with the features and performance. We often find ourselves in the environment where we have to use many different connectivity options and be able to work fast while having multiple applications running simultaneiously. The best laptop should also be designed from a sturdy material to take any abuse and should last through at least 4 years without repairs. Sony brand fits perfectly to all these requirements, Sony Vaio N fits well for a a low budget. And it’s good looking too ;). See all specs or buy it at Sony.

This post is for Maria Theresa Rites Agamata… Di nagpaparamdam e… No text, no calls, nothing!!! Please… Keep in touch!!!

I’ll Never Go…

You would always ask me
Those words I say
And telling me what it means to me

Every single day
You always act this way
For how many times I told you
I love you
For this is all I know

Come to me and hold me
And you will see
The love i give
For you still hold the key

I’ll never go far away from you
Even the sky will tell you
That I need you so
For this is all I know

I’ll never go far away from you
I’ll never go far away from you

One More Chance…

“To find love again, he had to lose it…
To find herself again, she had to lose him”

Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz get

John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo play Popoy and Basya, two souls who separate in order to grow as individuals. But will they get another shot at love?

SYNOPSIS.

The story started when Popoy and Basha met as a student in a university. Popoy ended up as an Engineer and Basha as an Architect. They work in the same company. Being inseparable — they did all their stuff together. Their relationship was great. Their families loved them; they shared barkada, worked in the same firm and their plans revolved around each other. They are pretty sure that they would get married and build a home together. Of course, Architect Basha will design their dream house while Engineer Popoy will be the one to build it. As if everything was planned perfectly.

However, all the planning eventually changes on Basha. She felt tired of trying to make her own mark in the firm, she tells him that she will resign and transfer to a smaller firm where she can have the chance to design her own. Unfortunately, Basha’s real reason of resigning to that firm is because she is tired of Popoy and their relationship. She had a feeling that Popoy is all over her and hasn’t given the chance to decide for her own. Basha asks for a breakup. She tells him shee needs space to grow — on her own.

Popoy was really hurt. He struggles to live his new life alone. Basha transfers to a smaller firm and begins to feel the freedom that she’s longing for. They tried to live without each other but the ties that bind them together make it harder for both of them. Their families and friends are worried about them and became a constant reminder of the promises they had during their happy days.

Popoy learns to pick up the pieces and live a life that he can call his own. But Basha’s part is more difficult when she sees Popoy starting to date other girls. A part of her wants him back but a part of her knows that she asked for this. Popoy’s aunt commissions them to build her house together. They feel awkward around each other. Eventually they feel warmed up. Since 5 years is hard to erase. They enjoyed each other’s presence and realized they missed each other.

Popoy knows that giving in would mean going back to how they were before. He’s way too scared to get hurt and to get in the way of Basha’s growth. Especially now that he has seen that she can do it all alone.

Will this be a chance to give love another try? A second Chance?

— Better watch it…

A Clockwork Orange!

21 11 2007

aclockworkorangea-clockwork-orange-posters.jpgIt’s hard to judge a film such as this. Its cold and hard, yet can be exhilarating and sarcastic. It can be average, yet it can be visionary. Exploitive? Satirical? Too many questions to consider when one watches this film.

Even after 36 years, this film still speaks volumes about our current culture, which many ideals are ringing true today. The younger generations are out of control due to lack of parental control, junk culture is becoming commonplace, violence is desensitizing the masses, and we all seem to be enjoying the ride on the way down. It’s very difficult to find movies which can make such startling commentary, yet hold on to such accusations for an extended period of time. Nowadays, films are focused-grouped to death, conformity is more powerful than artistry, and money is far more important than quality. Kubrick took a huge leap with this film, challenging society to take a hard look at itself. Unfortunately, society wasn’t ready for this film, which is why it is revered now more than ever.

Alex (Malcolm McDowell) is a cheerful young man who enjoys rape, violence, classical music, and just about everything sadistic. With his three droogs, Alex spends the nights terrorizing anyone who he might encounter. One night, after killing a woman with numerous cats, Alex’s gang turns on him and leaves him at the hands of the law. Alex next finds himself in prison with the sentence of 14 years for his murder that night. While in prison, he hears about a free ticket out of his sentence. All he has to do is be a guinea pig for a scientific experiment. The experiment is supposed to make Alex “better” and revert him from being bad to good. Alex says yes, jumping at the opportunity to get free faster. After being brainwashed by the scientists, Alex returns to civilization as a free and good man. However, the experiment has some side-effects that were not intended, and Alex is left helpless as his past victims come to gain revenge on him.

The acting (not to mention the soundtrack) is great. From the eye-grabbing first shot of the film to the confusing yet fulfilling last shot of the film, A Clockwork Orange remains to be one of the best classical films I’ve seen. I give A Clockwork Orange (1971) a 8 out of 10.

“Watch this film with an open mind and see the film as it truly is: a masterpiece.”
